LED Light Source Different from the legacy UV curing system, this device uses the LED (Light Emitting Diode), instead of the bulb as the light source. Long Service Life The LED is highly stable and durable. The expected service life is 125,000 hours, 40 times longer than that of the bulb, which is 2,000~3,000 hours only. It greatly reduces the bulb replacement and related cost. High and Adjustable UV Output power The output UV Power of the standard model is specified at 2 W. The UV output can be adjusted from 0 W to at least 2W, typically 3W. The enhanced model can provide up to 6 W UV output, satisfying various curing requirements. High Output Stability and High Curing Efficiency The independent cooling design enables the LED to generate strong UV output with high stability over a long period of time. This is a sharp contrast to bulb-type light source with degrading output over a short service period. With the output from a flex tube, the user can freely adjust and fix the irradiation direction with five degree freedom. In comparison with the traditional hand hold design, this design significantly improves the curing efficiency and flexibility. Reduction of Heat Damage Different from the bulb-type light source, LED source will not thermally damage the illuminated objects rapidly due to rapid heating up. It is best suited for curing of the high-end products. Optimized Cooling Design and long operation time The independent cooling design enables the fully optimized operation of LED in a compact structure. It can be used with the automatic or manual epoxy dispense machines. The system can replace the legacy spot light source based on high pressure mercury lamp.
